The Fields of Life Trust is a home based missionary organisation that has been working in Uganda since 1995. It all began when Rev. Trevor Stevenson initiated an agricultural project, which involved buying and setting up a 110 acre farm, 16 km from Kampala, in an area once known as The Killing Fields.
Two years later, at the request of local villagers, the Fields of Life Trust built their first school building close to the farm. Since then, the school building has become a major part of the work of the Fields of Life Trust. Through this work, thousands of children will receive an education and learn basic skills, encouraging them to take on income generating projects. The Fields of Life Trust has now been asked to build schools and also health centres in some of the poorest areas of the country.
